Initial Setup

To use File Storage - High Performance , you need to contact the support team. After providing the required information, your account will be enabled for the service, a quota will be granted, and the File Storage Management feature will be activated on the FPT Unify Portal. The required information includes:

Metric	Unit	Require	Detail
Tenant/Region		Yes	The Tenant/Region where the File Storage - High Performance service needs to be enabled
Storage Quota	GB	Yes	Desired storage capacity
Subnet List		Yes	Each Subnet on HPC using File Storage - High Performance will have a different endpoint. Customers need to provide a list of subnets that will access the File Storage so the support team can configure accordingly.
Performance	IOPS	No	Desired IOPS
(If not provided, default threshold will be applied)
Bandwidth	Gbps	No	Desired bandwidth
(If not provided, default threshold will be applied)
Features		No	Desired features.
